So what are triggers? Triggers are people, places, things, or situations that make you think of smoking and can make you crave a cigarette. These times and places "trigger"—or turn on—cigarette cravings, sometimes without you even realizing it.

Everyone who smokes has triggers.
The best way to avoid giving into them is to figure out what they are and how to beat them. Here are some examples:
